Job Description
Candidateswith expertise in the field of Film Production, qualified to teach courses at Sound Recording and Mixing. Thecandidate will be required to give tutorials to students, attend meetings,supervise final year projects and internship, and organize events.
Job Requirement
Thecandidate is required to have a PhD or at least a Master’s Degree in a relateddiscipline. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence inundergraduate or postgraduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidateswho have professional experience in entertainment or media, e.g. working infilm and/or television and having professional credits and industryconnections. The candidate should be cooperative, patient, and enthusiastic.
Proficiencyin English is required. English is the medium of instruction in the Cinema andTelevision Programme. Academic rank will be determined in accordance with thesuccessful candidate’s experience and research accomplishments.
Appointment Terms
Commencingsalaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance.Appointments to these positions will initially be made on a fixed-term contractwith mutual agreement.

The Cinema and Television (CTV) Programme,founded in 2006, was developed in conjunction with and modelled after thecurriculum of the Academy of Film of Hong Kong Baptist University, the largestand most important of its kind in the region. The CTV programme aims to nurturea new generation of graduates with a global vision, professional knowledge, andproduction and research skills needed for the robust development of the mediaand creative industries in the Greater China Region and overseas.
