Description
Responsibilities
·
Lead a team of development support specialists,
both full-time and temporary, including staffing, performance management and
task management.
- Provide overall support to game development teams.
o Verify
tools are functioning and that the builds load.
o Lead
developer support on bug reproduction including creating test plans and bug
reports.
o Develop
quality assurance programs to meet established quality assurance standards.
o Conduct
general play throughs of builds.
o Help
to coordinate game build delivery to internal and external partners.
o Support
audio, localization, play set, and other teams to check builds and verify
content in the game.
o Support
the Tech team with hardware, IGP and power disc development, programming and
shipment.
o Provide
general support of marketing, including creating game scenarios as needed.
o Provide
pre-event support of consumer play tests
o Help
solidify builds for demos and presentations
o Coordinate
with Glendale QA on builds.
o Manage
bug database.

Support facilities needs.
·
Perform other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of related game development experience, with 3
or more years of management experience
- Thorough understanding of the game development process
- Comprehensive
understanding of the software QA engineering process
- Strong written and
verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational
skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to anticipate,
identify and articulate problem areas and develop preventative solutions
- Ability to work with
cross-functional and cross-departmental employees and managers to
seamlessly meet common goals
- Ability to mentor others
and provide clear direction
- Ability to work productively in high stress situations
with a variety of personality types
