World Art Support Coordinator

Following the development of many successful titles on iPhone such as the Modern Combat, Dungeon Hunter, Gangstar and Asphalt franchises, Gameloft Montreal is currently seeking a World Art Support Coordinator to collaborate on its next generation of iPhone, iPad and Android games.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

As part of a team based in Montreal with international reach, you will supervise the collaboration of pre-production and production teams for various mobile projects with varied graphical universes.

Working under the World Art Director, the Coordinator’s main duties will be to manage task assignment and ensure the evolution of the projects within the local art team. The Coordinator will ensure that the instructions and comments have been followed before submitting to local teams and the head office.

• Supervise the team at all levels (planning, task assignment and monitoring various production cycles)
• Ensure the quality of the work and that the instructions of the art director have been followed (concept art, character modeling, background modeling, storyboards, animations, etc.)
• Ensure that delivery deadlines are met 
• Keep in constant communication with international teams (validation of technical limitations, schedule)
• Provide logistical support to team members in order for them to perform their tasks in the best possible conditions


Requirements
• At least 2 years’ experience in 2D/3D video game production (console/mobile)
• Experience managing teams in a creative and specialized environment
• Excellent organizational skills and determination
• Degree or good experience in management
• Able to organize a team following a strict and changing agenda
• Able to manage, motivate and work with a team under pressure
• Able to provide clear and precise reports to supervisors
• Able to work daily in English (written, spoken, in order to manage and share ideas)
• Able to be creative regarding every detail in a project from beginning to end, while keeping a global perspective (within the framework of the project)
• Knowledge of 2D/3D

• You are aware of the importance of delivering projects on time
• You are able to evaluate teams according to given instructions and quality of execution
• You have a good critical sense in terms of art and graphic creation and you are able to make relevant comments
• You are passionate about video games
