As a Senior Animator for our BioWare Edmonton studio, this role will influence the next generation of world class narrative driven games.

What does BioWare look for?

5+ years’ experience within the gaming industry.

Exceptional skill in animating human figures as well as organic forms. Experience in illustration, modeling, texturing and rigging required.

Animate human and creature forms, giving the character weight, personality, mood, and believability. Convey mood and emotion through facial animation

Interact and collaborate with the different departments (Design, Art, Programming, Writing, etc.)Excellent problem solving skills. Candidate must be able to quickly identify issues and resolve them.

Fluency with Maya, ZBrush, MotionBuilder and Photoshop

Classical Animation background, Degree in Fine Arts or Computer Animation

A thorough understanding of the key aspects of game development including detailed knowledge of pre-production, production and post-production
