Network Administrator

Description

ZeniMax’s corporate IT Infrastructure team seeks a Network Administrator that will help architect, implement and support the networks in our corporate facilities. In this role you will work with teams across the company to gather requirements. You will design highly available solutions for our corporate environments. You will help manage hardware/software vendors as well as telecom providers. You will be a network-focused resource for systems administrators and desktop resources supporting and building distributed enterprise services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on data, voice, and network security infrastructure projects.
• Recommend additions and changes to information system standards, policies and procedures
• Ensure the stable and reliable connectivity of all LAN and WAN devices
• Monitor and manage network traffic loads through traffic filtering
• Rapidly troubleshoot network outages and problems
• Support and administer the operation and management of the servers, storage, and network
• Assist in server evaluation, configuration, installation and maintenance
• Effectively communicate technical information to IT staff members and other corporate staff
• Assist with the purchase of services and/or product and inventory of networking hardware, software, and cabling
• Provide strong troubleshooting skills using experience and other available resources
• Provide monitoring, disaster recovery, and network hardware support
• Maintain up-to-date detailed documentation and publishing; where applicable
• Provide technical mentoring to junior IT staff and be a point of escalation for troubleshooting desktop issues

Requirements:

• Minimum CCNA or JNCIA certification level
• Support systems infrastructure team in deployment of shared site-to-site services
• 1-2 Years supporting multi-site private connectivity (IPSEC, MPLS, VPLS, EVPL)
• 1-2 Years supporting Cisco / Juniper Switches/Routers (IOS, Nexus, Junos) in an enterprise environment
• 1-2 Years supporting Cisco / Juniper Firewalls (ASA, SRX) in an enterprise environment
• 1-2 Years supporting Routing Protocols (BGP, MPLS, IPSEC, OSPF, etc) in an enterprise environment
• Additional preferred experience
  • Monitoring and alerting platforms for LAN and WAN environments (Nagios, Shinken, PRTG, Zenoss, Zabbix, Cacti)
  • TCP Accelerators (Wanscaler, Riverbed)
  • Designing and securing Wireless networks
  • Assist with Security devices (IPS/IDS)
  • Storage networking (FC, iSCSI, Ethernet)
• Willingness to support on-call rotation
• Willingness to work after hours in emergency situations or when maintenance would impact critical business processes.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
