Technical Project Manager

Use current methodologies to guide creative teams through developing exciting slot game content. IGT, the leading slot game manufacturer, is seeking an enthusiastic Technical Project Manager that is ready to bring their experience of strong communication and leadership to work with cross disciplinary teams to track game content milestones and collaborate with Producers to successfully deliver innovative games for customers across the globe.

First Year Goals:

· Collaborate- work with Producer to drive and support development and delivery of high quality games on time through planning and coordinating all aspects of game projects from inception to submission.
· Lead- drive activities of 5-10 multi-disciplined team members to achieve multiple high complexity project deliveries both internally and externally to studio.
· Facilitate - lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team through analyzing and removing project barriers and roadblocks.
· Communicate- Develop feature based release, milestone, and iteration plan, track and report on project progress, resource, staff, assets and schedules and project metrics.
· Assert– ensure project management principles are adhered to while allowing maximum flexibility based on team needs that drive delivery of business value, will be voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls as part of a collaborative process with management, development, and product leadership.
· Know- Understand basic fundamentals of software development process, use basic fundamentals of iterative development and working knowledge of a project management tool set such as Jira.
· Practice- use experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
· Grow – practice continual improvements in project management craft, review results, learn new tools and techniques to manage self and team to adapt as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• PSM, CSM, PMI or similar certification required
• Strong Excel skills, Microsoft Project or similar program
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• 3 to 5 years of experience in managing technical projects
• 1 to 2 years experience managing (directly or indirectly) large staffs 10+
• Knowledge of the gaming or video game industry helpful
• Knowledge of engineering code helpful
• Must be able to travel and obtain a gaming card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
