Description
Studio Vortex, an in-house developer of casino slot games for International Game
Technology, (NYSE: IGT) is looking to grow its multi-talented team of artists.
Located in sunny Reno, NV, Studio Vortex prides itself of designing industry
leading games that set new standards for content and playability. We are a
passionate group of artists, engineers, designers and producers looking to
innovate and push casino games to new heights of visual excellence.
We
are currently looking for an upbeat, experienced graphic artist to join us in
our pursuit of greatness. In this position, you will be working collaboratively
with support artists, the art manager, game designers and producers. A deep
knowledge of working with existing brands/licenses will be required along with
having experience in UI design.

First Year Goals:
• Create high quality artwork and animation within a fast-paced development
cycle without compromising quality, with an emphasis on the player
experience.

Qualifications:
• Related degree or 5+ years of experience in the
games
industry
• Strong design and user interface skills
• Adobe Creative Suite experience required
• Flexibility with various artistic styles required
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and
written
• Deadline oriented • Animation experience in 3D packages, After Effects
or
Flash
• Avid gamer that can connect with slots/casino
core
