JOB TITLE: Storyboard Revisionist

REPORTING TO: Production Manager                     

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Brown Bag Films 2D Animation Studio in Manchester is recruiting for the position of STORYBOARD REVISIONIST.

Working in a busy creative environment, the successful candidate will work on a new, high profile, 52x11 minute episode pre-school series for a global children’s’ channel.

The series is being created in Toon Boom Harmony.

Key Areas of responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Storyboard Supervisor, Animatic Editor and Director
• Provide new and amended drawings for existing storyboards and animatics.
• Respond efficiently to notes and be able to translate revisions during storyboard review and animatic process
• Adhere to the quality and style of the show.
• Meet all deadlines as determined by the Producer or Production Manager  

Person Specification/Requirements

·         1+ years working as a Storyboard Revisionist for TV Animation

·         Strong storytelling and drawing skills

·         Strong communication skills with an ability to give and take direction

·         Ability to work as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment

·         Career aspiration to become a Storyboard Artist

Contract type: Fixed Contract
