Information Security Engineer

Description

Security Engineers are responsible for protecting the ZeniMax Media network from malware and external attacks.  Engineers are responsible for protecting ZeniMax Intellectual Property.  Engineers will develop and maintain policies and procedures for IT Security within ZeniMax Media.  Engineers will work closely with other divisions to ensure compliance of IT Security procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IT Security policies and procedures for ZeniMax Media
• Research and deploy new security technologies to protect the ZeniMax Media infrastructure
• Detect and respond to security events and incidents
• Maintain and improve the current security infrastructure
• Investigate and resolve security events
• Security incident response planning and event coordination
• Research new exploits and vulnerabilities for ZeniMax Media software and applications
• Conduct Security Assessments

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Linux/Windows/Mac Operating Systems
• Relevant work experience, including experience in responding to security problems in target-rich environments, including looking at security alerts, front-line analysis and escalation
• Experience with intrusion detection systems
• Experience with network security monitoring tools
• Familiarity with Enterprise Anti-Virus 
• Expertise in TCP/IP
• Must have a passion for Information Security
• Knowledge of latest exploits and vulnerabilities
• Strong communication & organizational skills, ability to multi-task, strong attention to details, excellent problem solving and follow-up skills required
• Strong documentation skills required
• Strong attention to detail required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Perl, Python, Ruby, C/C++, Java, or Bash
• Experience reverse engineering malware to develop signatures
• Experience with enterprise web filtering solutions
• Experience with BRO IDS
