PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Description

Within an amazing full CG feature film, Mikros Image Canada is looking for a Production Coordinator.


Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Line Producer and in direct contact with the supervision team, the coordinator is a key resource person for the production as he/she acts as a link between all the artists and the production.

• Follow-up and update shot statuses and artist targets in addition to being able to produce show status at all times; 

• Maintain, update and follow up the shit list and activities of her/his department; 

• Evaluate with the Line producer, Supervisor and the artists’ targets, quotas and objectives; 

 • Organize, attend, and manage dailies and review meetings, take notes of all relevant information and distribute them to the concerned crew and artists;

• Manage flow of information and transfer of information/work between departments; 

• Ensures that the artists have all the necessary information and warn production management in case of work overload; 

• Keep artists and supervisors up to date with information – client notes, shot changes, modifications - and evaluate impact on current work;

 • Anticipate potential problems and production delays ; 

• Prepare detailed reports dedicated to the Production and client: client notes, shot and schedule changes, or any important modifications 


Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a production coordinator ideally in animation; 

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, energetic, outgoing and involved; 

• Rigorous, thorough and must have very strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and to manage conflicting interests; 

• Being able to work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, team-player; 

• Resourceful, proactive and reactive; 

• Advance knowledge of Shogun Software and Excel 

• French-English Bilingual 

• Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident in Canada and be available to work in Montreal, Quebec
