Description
FUSEFX is seeking talented and experienced Jr. VFX Editor for current and upcoming
projects for our New York Office.
FUSEFX is an Emmy award-winning visual effects and animation studio
focused on producing photo-real digital effects for feature film, episodic
television and commercials.
The
ideal Jr. VFX Editor candidate is a self-motivated individual who can work
independently, can multi-task and has excellent organizational skills. In
addition, this person should have the techniques to detect and solve editorial
and data management issues. The position involves frequent communication with
the company's producers, supervisors and digital artists, so a good candidate
will have an approachable and friendly demeanor. The ability to handle and
explain technical issues with non-technical staff or clients, as well as be
able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while keeping calm and
maintaining an acute attention to detail and accuracy is extremely important.
The
primary responsibility of this position is to prep and QC material from clients
and provide elements for VFX artists, assist in running screenings for producers and
supervisors, and process approved material and deliver back to clients.
Applicant should have strong creative and technical abilities, excellent
problem solving skills, and work well in a team environment.
Applicants
should have a minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar role.
