reactiv post, a creative motion design & VFX shop in Toronto, is seeking an experienced & motivated in-house post producer to join our small but ambitious team!
Responsibilities:
- Review client job requests, create project breakdown and assemble bids.
- Schedule projects and maintain daily task lists for artists
- Ensure deadlines are met while communicating with clients in a timely manner and keeping them updated throughout the project
- Manage client expectations in relation to project timeline and budget
- Liaise between client and artists/creative director
- Schedule client screenings/working sessions
- Maintain a positive experience for clients during screenings/working sessions.
- Assist with business development & collaborate with EP and CD on sales strategies & execution
- Accompany Creative Director to meetings with potential clients
- Maintain relationships with existing clients
- Attend external industry events for the purpose of networking
- Assist in updating company social media accounts
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years experience producing in a post production facility
- General understanding of entire post production pipeline and processes
- Advanced understanding of motion graphics and VFX processes, pipelines, and terminology.
- Experience working with advertising agencies on commercial projects
- Experience working on direct to client commercial/corporate projects.
- Some experience working on either feature film or TV work.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office & Excel
- Detail oriented
- Capable of motivating and leading a team
- Calm under pressure
