Carbon Los Angeles is looking for a highly skilled, motivated and creative VFX Supervisor / Lead Flame artist. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the leader of an exciting and multi-faceted team, in the production capital of the world.

You will be working right alongside the EP in fostering and shaping the Carbon creative brand. We are looking for someone to lead a team of individuals creatively and collaboratively in an open, fun work environment.

We are a small yet dynamic team, with a versatile approach to working in the modern visual effects landscape. We need versatile artists to match. The ideal candidate will be thoroughly conversant in Flame, while also capable of using and understanding the best tool for each task.  We are looking for a lead creative artist that is happy and able to take on every aspect of a compositing role on multiple time-pressured commercial bookings, with heavy client attendance, while equally comfortable leading creative pitches and devising clever and inspiring methodologies that win new work.

It’s fundamental that you have at least 7 years of front-line experience working with market-leading directors and agency creatives, and a reel to demonstrate it. You will be a confident and authoritative voice both in the suite and on set, while being diplomatic and sensitive to the mix of personalities on each project.
