2D Motion Designer

The 2D Motion Designer executes creative and engaging animations under the guidance of a Senior Motion Designer and an Art Director. Candidates must be able to keep up with peers in a fast-paced creative agency environment and collaborate with a diverse team of animators and designers. Expect to be involved in all phases of the animation and design process, including concept development, storyboarding, and digital production. Work will span a variety of mediums and types including broadcast videos, online videos, and digital signage animations.

Qualifications/Experience:

• BS/BA/AD degree preferred
• Three to five years of experience in a digital production environment — may include work experience and education combined
• Agency experience is a plus

Application Experience:

• Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Premiere, etc.
• After effects expression experience a plus
• MochaPro is a plus, but not required
• Cinema 4D is a plus, but not required
• 3DS Max is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and building effective, high-quality animations while collaborating closely with art and creative directors
• Executing ideas to further creative works by using conceptual and design skills
• Collaborating with programmers/coders on blending visual design with additional functions and objects
• Achieving deadlines and completing production in a fast paced environment
• Being cognizant of supporting story within a work with the correct balance, composition, and proper timing
• Must be current with the latest trends of popular video codec’s and format specifications for client delivery
• Additional duties as requested

• Communicates both visually and verbally to convey meaning clearly to others
