AWESOME INC, a creative studio in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking a mid-to-senior level VFX / Nuke Compositor to assist with the live-action Adult Swim television series, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell.

We are hiring for our Atlanta, GA studio only; no remote freelancers are sought at this time.

Position is full-time with benefits. Length of employment will be for the duration of the production season; approximately through August 2018.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industry experience is ideal, bonus if you’ve been a team lead.
• We’re looking for generalists rather than specialists.
• You’ll need to be nimble in Nuke and Mocha Pro and highly adept at blue screen extraction and CG set integration. (check out the show for examples…)
• Knowledge of Maya, V-Ray, and/or SynthEyes is a plus.
• Previous experience in a studio environment and knowledge of a production pipeline is highly valued.

Responsibilities

You may find yourself…

• Leading a small team of 6-7 junior compositors: tracking & assigning shots, advising on proper techniques, and keeping an eye on their work all while completing shots yourself.
• Attending review sessions with directors & producers.
• Troubleshooting workflow issues and instituting industry norms.

• You'll need to possess rigid file-management and organizational skills. Everyone loves attention to detail!
• Deadlines and quick turnarounds should excite you.
• You shouldn’t be afraid of getting dirty with DIY solutions when reshoots aren’t an option.
• People-skills in collaborating, motivating, and communicating are a must-have.
