Senior Colorist – MPC Advertising - Los Angeles

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Colorist with experience in enhancing live-action footage to reflect desired look and feel for advertising, film or broadcast projects. 

Our Senior Colorists are responsible for color grading a wide variety of 2D and 3D images for a very broad range of content, primarily TV & experiential advertising. The Senior Colorist must also obtain the ability to communicate extremely well with clients, as well as, directors to produce the highest quality possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute colorist tasks using Baselight software.
• Assist with developing the look of a sequence with the clients and director.
• Maintain the departments best working practice.
• Explore and recommend new color grading techniques when appropriate.

Experience and Skills:

• Proven and demonstrable experience in high-end color grading process.
• In-depth knowledge of color grading techniques, and workflow.
• Thorough understanding of most up-to-date color grading techniques and technologies.
• Proactive in picking up nuance of color and a keen eye for what is needed on a per shot basis.
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues.
