CONSOLE GAME PROGRAMMER
Come join us in sunny Westminster, Colorado and help us make some awesome games!
We are currently in development on a major console game with a AAA publisher and are looking for Console Game Programmers with current generation console experience to join our growing team. As a mid-level to senior engineer you will help us build games and experiences for multiple platforms including consoles, PC, and mobile. In addition, you will work with a group of industry veterans to provide direction and leadership to more junior staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Join a team of software engineers in the design and implementation of game features and platform code
- Contribute innovative and original ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development
- Help our games work on consoles, PC, and mobile platforms
- Review the work of other engineers and provide mentorship
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Fluent in C# and C++
- Creative, focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful problem-solver with excellent debugging and strong communications skills
- A passion for well architected, robust, maintainable, and extensible code with good coding standards
- Comfortable working within and enhancing an established code framework
- Passionate about making games
- Patient and calm during periods of stress
- Degree in software engineering, computer science, physics, math or equivalent
- Must exhibit a positive attitude and be a strong team player who is able to work with people from all game development disciplines
BENEFICIAL SKILLS
- WPF/XAML experience
- QT Experience
- MVVM Experience
- SQL Experience
- Experience working on PC games
- Experience working with Unity
- Experience with graphics and shaders work
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years programming experience
- Experience working on current generation gaming consoles
- Multiple shipped titles
