Learning & Development Supervisor (Vancouver)

Everything will be awesome when you’re part of the team! Animal Logic - the studio that brought you The LEGO Movie - is looking for a Learning & Development Supervisor who is committed to developing, implementing, and managing a learning and development plan in a dynamic fun environment.

On any given day, you might find yourself being called upon to:  

• Work with HR and Training Supervisor to drive and build a learning culture across Animal Logic
• Identify capability gaps and opportunities and develop appropriate learning solutions
• Work with external and internal training providers to partner with us to further develop employees, while creating, designing, and implementing and facilitating learning sessions
• Create and implement an Outreach Program
• Build relationships with educational institutions and industry organizations to develop school experience programs, industry seminars & events, and help develop curriculum to align with animation/VFX industry need
• Manage, refine and facilitate orientation process and content
•  Helping to build and improve our fun and creative culture

• Three years previous experience in a senior learning & development role
• Excellent facilitation and training skills
• Experience in planning and implementing learning & development across all employees
• Experience working with a project-based workforce
• Ability to create, design and deliver training programs and sessions
• Excellent communication, problem solving and influencing skills
• Experience working within the film and television industry is desirable
• Formal qualifications in Learning & Development, Education, and/or HR is highly desirable
