We are now looking for an experienced Senior Animator to play a crucial role in tying together gameplay and storytelling through the use of character movement. You will collaborate with creative and passionate team members within DICE Los Angeles and have fun doing so!

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Animator you will be responsible for creating animated prototypes and seeing them through production and implemented into the game.

Work task examples:

• Prototype ideas using our content driven animation tool
• Directing actors and stuntmen in motion capture sessions
• End to end implementation of animation into the game

Skills We Look For:

• Experience working as an animator in the games industry
• Excellent understanding of the principles of animation such as weight and timing
• Excellent skills in Maya, MotionBuilder or similar software
• Passionate about video games and animation
• Experience in setting up and working with animation blending trees and/or state machines
• Working with motion capture, recording and editing
• Strong ability to deliver on time and to set realistic time estimates for own work
• Motivated & committed – Good Team player with a can-do attitude
• Knowledge of common practices and the understanding of industry trends
