  Reports to: VFX Producer & VFX Supervisor
  Location: Vancouver

  About Dneg TV:
  DNegTV was formed in 2013 and has grown from strength to strength to a current crew size of approximately 120 people. In the past 12 months, we have completed work on a number of great projects including Agent Carter, Braindead, Childhood’s End, Mr Selfridge and American Odyssey.

  Key Purpose of the Role: 
  We are looking for an experienced Pre-viz Artist to join us in Vancouver. You’ll work on set helping design and shape the VFX for an upcoming sci-fi series being produced for a very well known online provider of films and television series. 

  Requirements:
  • 3+ years CG experience in feature film and high quality television series 
  • A strong generalist background including modeling, texturing and lighting
  • Layout, camera animation, character animation and timing skills are essential
  • Some knowledge of 3D tracking and matchmoving would be useful
  • Solid understanding of on set camerawork and direction
  • Previous onset experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven experience of working in a challenging client facing role within VFX
  
  Software knowledge:
  • Autodesk Maya
  • Nuke
  • Adobe After Effects (a plus)
  • Autodesk Motion Builder (a plus)
  • Boujou, PFTrack (a plus)
