We are seeking a talented, hands-on candidate with extensive
Adobe Flash experience including flash animation, scripts, logo and branding
creation. Responsible for helping define and design projects in Flash, as
well as build, test, and debug/troubleshoot web applications
The ideal candidate should be strong-team player that can be
counted on to develop Flash solutions as well as champion best practices and
approaches. Must be a creative thinker, well organized with detail
orientated interactive development and design experience. Must have
excellent customer service skills and possess the ability to work with
customers in detailing content design and port over to development.
What you
need for this position:
· 2 to 8 years’ experience in flash/interactive design
· Development experience in flash based technologies
with experience in action script programming
· In depth knowledge of software engineering and object
oriented programming principles
· Ability to work in all areas of Flash development
including: Actionscript 2.0/3.0, XML, Flash Video and Audio integration
· Experience with 3ds max is a plus
· Strong understanding of the limitations and constraints
of Flash and HTML with the ability to apply that knowledge in producing interactive solutions
· Strong experience in all aspects of the software
development lifecycle
· Ability to handle deadlines and juggle multiple
projects at any given time
· Detail oriented, highly organized and a keen eye for
consistency
· Strong communication and listening skills with the
ability to translate feedback visually
· Exposure to other object oriented programming
languages is a plus (C++, C#, .net)
What you'll be doing:
· Be an active participant in all projects: attending
meetings, offering thoughts and ideas on design strategy, technical strategy
and organization of all content and media files
· Be a self starter and a team player, but one who can
still take ownership of designs, flash files, image files, folder structure and
the like
· Have the ability to find answers to questions, and
articulately explain design problems and solutions or technical problems and solutions
· Must be able to perform unit/system and integration
testing on all custom service applications
· Take pride in delivering an end to end product
solution and be willing to make the extra effort to ensure all details are addressed
· Knowledge or experience in the gaming industry is a
plus
· Provide assistance in the scoping process for new
business
