CLOTH ARTIST

Description

The Cloth Artist is responsible for the creation of Cloth effects for 3D animated characters and the simulation of animated. He directly reports to the Cloth supervisor.

Responsibilities 

• Create and simulate Cloth effects on 3D animated characters which meets artistic and technical direction of the project; 
• Collaborate with animators to create Cloth effects suitable for animation; 
  
• Meet the schedule and production quotas. 

 Qualifications 

• +3 years of work experience as a Cloth Artist in a film production environment, animated TV series or visual effects; 
  
• Extensive knowledge of Maya and cloth tools ; 
  
• Skills in animation and rigging 
  
• Bilingual (English and French); 
  
• Thorough, creative sense and technically well-off
