Description
A new animation studio is opening in
Liverpool, January 2017. Production starts with a commission from
one of the US studios to produce a children's television series (52 x 11
minutes plus 2 x half hour specials)
and there is a strong slate of
TV shows and feature films in development.
Fourth Wall are currently looking for a
junior 3D Animator recently graduated with some industry experience.
Responsibilities:

To ensure the
highest standard of animation
·
Ensure production
targets are achieved
·
Work closely
with the Animation Lead to understand overall storytelling of the show
·
Ensure work
for reviews is produced in good time for Editorial to make up a daily timeline
· Liaise with Animation Lead on a daily/weekly basis and highlight
potential bottlenecks
Technical and artistic Requirements:
·
One to two years previous experience in
the CG Industry in a relevant role with an excellent sense of pacing and timing
for Animation
· Must have strong working knowledge of animation principles and camera
set-up
· Good knowledge of Maya is essential and a working knowledge of Houdini is
desirable
· An understanding of rigging
·
Must have strong problem-solving skills
and attention to detail and quality
· Experience of working with tracking software such as Shotgun or FTrack
Personal requirements:
· Clear communication skills
· Self starter
· Must be passionate about character animation and acting
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced production environment
· Meticulous attention to detail, organized and able to work within the
constraints of a regimented pipeline
· Ability and willingness to feedback on issues to make the pipeline more
efficient
