JOB TITLE:  VFX Supervisor

Prana Studios - Mumbai, India is looking for an experienced VFX Supervisor for an exciting and high profile project

ROLE Summary:    

• The VFX Supervisor role requires someone with minimum 8 years of experience preferably with major VFX credits
  
• Large Format experience will be a plus for this position
  
• Proficient in Maya, Mari, Arnold, Nuke and Houdini
  
• Creative eye and aesthetic judgement with a deep understanding of composition, photo-real look in CG
  
• Thorough understanding of CG and 2D principles and pipeline
  
• Team Leader with excellent communication skills
  

• Supervise and coordinate the project’s Asset build, Animation and VFX phases.
• Work closely with creative/film director to develop and interpret his/her creative vision
• Brief team on director’s creative vision to enable VFX /CG team to produce desired results
• Identify and outline bottlenecks and deficiencies on the project, technical or otherwise, to the Studio Head and Producer. Propose and Implement solutions.
• Clearly and concisely communicate the project’s workflows to the team members.
• Provide leadership and support for the project’s team, both creatively and technically, and ensure they partner effectively with Production management and ensure they deliver on their goals.
• Understanding the entire production process and approving the work of local and overseas team.
