DevOps Engineer

Purpose of the
job:
The Support Engineer will be part of our
Core Technology Team.

Essential
Functions/Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain AMIs to support our VR/360 video
platform
- Build, deploy, and maintain tooling for managing and monitoring
servers
- Develop and maintain system backup tools and
procedures
- Be on call to handle server outages
- Build and maintain automation to handle deployments
and scaling

Education,
Experience, and Skills Required:
- Strong background working with and maintaining Linux
systems
- Comfort with bash scripting including use of regexes
- Experience with IPv4 networking and routing
- Experience working with cloud hosted services such as
AWS
Education,
Experience, and Skills Recommended
- Experience with Javascript and node.js
- Experience with noSQL databases such as MongoDB,
crate.io, and rethinkDB
- Knowledge of automation/configuration management such
as Rundeck, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana

Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: - Hours for
this position are based on normal working hours but will require extra hours
pending production needs
- Walking/bending/sitting
