Release Manager (Temp)

Summary of Position:

Monolith Productions seeks a Release Manager to be accountable for the planning, scheduling and distribution of our game through the different stages of development; including testing to live deployment. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan lockdown and integration strategies for product builds.
  • Track code and content integrations across multiple development and live environments.
  • Ensure all milestone goals are established, agreed upon, and achieved.
  • Help identify and facilitate process, pipelines, and dependencies required between multiple teams.
  • Understand and coordinate 1st party submission process; including documentation.
  • Communicate with internal and external groups to ensure that schedule and dependencies are known and understood.

Job Requirements:

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience working within the videogame industry.
  • Shipped at least 1 title working with the build pipelines and 1st party submissions.
  • Successful track record in actually shipping games that make it to market.

 

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Passport eligibility preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Understand product configuration with first parties.
  • Be knowledgeable about console development first party requirements for build submissions.
  • Proficient with Perforce and code / content integrations.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Good communications skills, a friendly and open nature, and an active and curious mind.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics, e.g. technical, business and creative.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.  
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who prefers working in a fast-paced environment.
