Release Manager (Temp)
Description
Summary of Position:
Monolith
Productions seeks a Release Manager to be accountable for the planning,
scheduling and distribution of our game through the different stages of
development; including testing to live deployment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan lockdown and integration strategies for product builds.
- Track code and content integrations across multiple development and live
environments.
- Ensure all milestone goals are established, agreed upon, and achieved.
- Help identify and facilitate process, pipelines, and dependencies required
between multiple teams.
- Understand and coordinate 1st party submission process; including
documentation.
- Communicate with
internal and external groups to ensure that schedule and dependencies are known
and understood.
Job Requirements:
Work Experience
- Minimum
2-4 years’ experience working within the videogame industry.
- Shipped
at least 1 title working with the build pipelines and 1st party
submissions.
- Successful
track record in actually shipping games that make it to market.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or
Certification
- Passport eligibility preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
- Understand
product configuration with first parties.
- Be knowledgeable
about console development first party requirements for build submissions.
- Proficient with
Perforce and code / content integrations.
- Strong time
management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems,
juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

mind.
- Ability to
communicate effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics,
e.g. technical, business and creative.
