2D AE Animator

Description

We're seeking talented After Effects animators who are particularly good at character animation for a hand-drawn, 2-D, low-budget, indie animated horror feature.

Our style is similar to the TV show "Archer." Art and color are complete - we are not looking for artists at this time. You will be joining an international team of talented pros who have been working on this project for 3 years. Estimated completion: fall 2017.

You should be fluent with After Effects (CC 2017 preferred) and have experience with lip sync. Strong character acting, English, and communication skills are a must. Must understand 2-D puppet animation and rigging in AE. Knowledge of DUIK rigging tool a plus. Reliability and follow-through are a must. Degree in animation and knowledge of squash  + stretch is a big plus.

This is a work-from-home freelance gig with flexible schedule but firm deadlines. Full or part-time. The pay is $250/locked animated minute. The pay is lousy but we pay quickly and are nice people! The length of the assignment will be approximately 5 months.
