Purpose of the job:
The Sponsorship Manager drives
consolidated and effective integrated sponsorship strategy that engages all
relevant stakeholders and builds on and protects the strong reputation of
Digital Domain as a creative force in virtual reality, visual effects, and media
applications.

Essential
Functions/Responsibilities:
- Lead innovative and comprehensive Sponsorship strategy
across virtual reality projects including ongoing negotiation and management
of relative relationships
- Develop Sponsorship strategy and activation plans, ensuring
optimum delivery of benefits for our global iconic brand
- Lead the building of a central intelligence hub for
Sponsorship within Digital Domain, and continue to break new ground with
outstanding, commercially astute and proven partnerships that are aligned
with all business units with the Digital Domain group of companies
- Oversee and manage the development of fully integrated
sponsorship campaigns that leverage partnerships at a regional and local level
- Work collaboratively with the local operations and other
key stakeholders to develop executions that help build a strong emotional
connection with our customers
- Establish and maintain strong and effective relationships
with our existing and new partners.
- Sell Event Sponsorships across both individual
and a portfolio of events
- Create and manage a pipeline of prospects to grow the
sponsorship client base and ensure target attainment
- Support sales teams in sourcing and developing sales leads
to prospect
- Work with Sales Teams to prepare sales proposals for
sponsorship investments
- Identify and propose custom marketing solutions to CEOs and
VPs
- Implement efficient key account management strategies to
maximize client relationship value
- Actively work with sales teams across London, New York and
Los Angeles
- Support sales teams in finding sponsors for ongoing project
pipelines
- Develop and manage a central project sponsorship pipeline

Qualifications:
Education and/or
Experience Required:
- Degree in Marketing or Communications / marketing-related
discipline
- Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in sponsorship
management, equity building, and campaign development; Experience in virtual
reality is a plus

- Strong and effective relationship management ability
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong Connections within the Sponsorship Industry
- Strong focus on analytics and ROI
- Planning and contract management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and willingness to work on one’s own initiative
in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging
deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Can-do attitude, and upbeat, positive, and dynamic
personality
- Moderate travel required

Working Conditions
and Environment/Physical Demands:
- Office working environment.
- Hours for this position are based on normal working hours
but will require extra hours pending production needs.
- Walking/bending/sitting.
