Animatic Editor

Description

Wind Dancer Films is looking for an experienced Animatic Editor for the PBS Kids series, Ready Jet Go! The position would involve editing Animatics as well as Animation and Composition lineups for the production.

Responsibilities

·         Assembling Radioplays and Animatics with digital storyboard panels, audio files, and applicable temporary sound effects, transitions, and camera moves.

·         Addressing revision notes for Radioplays and Animatics from all review meetings up until the final animatic is locked and sent to the animation studio.

·         Compiling Animation and Composition lineups for director reviews.

·         Collaborating with Script Coordinator and Production Coordinators on creating scene breakdown reports and pickup line requests.

Key Skills

·         Experience cutting broadcast or feature film Animatics for Animation.

·         Knowledge of and experience with the CG Animation production pipeline.

·         A high degree of proficiency and experience with Adobe Premiere in an Animation workflow.

·         Ability to maintain a high level of organization.

·         Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.

·         Ability to adapt to the shifting demands and priorities of the production.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Positive, enthusiastic, and friendly personality.

·         Strong storytelling skills.
