Virtual Production Asset Manager

Description

We are a Los Angeles based production company in search of a candidate with experience managing and organizing digital assets to join our team as a Virtual Production Asset Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work with high end digital art materials while working on the production of a cutting edge major motion picture. 

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating an asset naming convention, resolving issues when new assets don’t fit into the existing convention and categorizing assets and animation using a tagging system.  Communication skills are important as you will be working with teams of cg artists, concept artists and production personnel. You should be driven, positive and interested in the opportunity to learn while adapting to the changing needs of a film production.

Preferred

·      Experience in VFX, Games, Entertainment or 3D Graphics.

·      Be able to understand, document and expand naming conventions

·      Organize and catalog digital assets - environments, characters, props, animation and FX

·      A familiarity with server folder structure typically used by art and visual effects departments

·      An understanding of what department and stage of development generated

·      Be relied upon to quickly navigate both the server and in-house software viewing system to find content

·      Understand proper procedure and expectations when receiving and distributing content
