CG Supervisor

Description

LOGAN is seeking a talented and experienced CG Supervisor for current and upcoming projects. This position will be a Freelance position with the possibility of staff for the right fit.
The CG Supervisor oversees the throughput of shots through the 3D pipeline, partnering with the VFX Supervisor to ensure delivery of assigned work on schedule and on budget. They are also responsible for the implementation of an efficient and effective approach that allows the artists to focus on creating the highest quality images with a minimum of resources within the production schedule and budget. 
 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to manage and coordinate scheduling/artists

• Maya, Nuke and Arnold skills are required

• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of a 3D production pipeline from previs, modeling, rigging, texture, lighting, rendering, FX and compositing.

• Strong creative eye with regards to lighting principles, color theory, composition and timing.

• Node based compositing skills helpful (i.e. Nuke)

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years experience in a production environment

• 3+ years experience as a cg supervisor or similar position

• Should be able to effectively execute all necessary assigned tasks while under tight production schedule deadlines

• Efficient communication with producers and coordinators on project status

• Strong creative and technical abilities

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Positive attitude and motivational qualities
