PSI is currently seeking a 3D Forensic Animator.

The successful candidate will be able to create exceptional, realistic animations from 3D laser scan data from actual crime or accident scenes, plus digital libraries, while still maintaining absolute, rigorous fidelity to the documented forensic evidence and data from each character and object in a scene.

You will report to PSI’s Creative Director, and you will work from concept through story boards to the finished deliverables. PSI’s projects are always on stringent deadlines. Candidates must be highly organized in their workflow and file structures and must be able to work as an integral member of our team.

•    Modeling from point cloud data
•    Rigging of characters, vehicles and objects
•    Keyframing
•    Compositing
•    CAD line work from point cloud data
•    Blocking
•    Lighting
•    Beauty Passes
•    Camera tracking for animating over video
•    Animating from Motion Capture

Required Software Proficiency:
•    AutoDesk 3DS Max
•    Adobe Photoshop
•    Adobe After Effects
