Job Description:

The candidate will work closely with our current VR team to create leading edge VR for a Fortune 500 client, among others.  Candidate must possess the ability to work collaboratively and communicate with multiple teams and utilize provided assets to create VR experiences in UE4 using the HTC Vive. Candidate is responsible for researching, evaluating, implementing and testing new and innovative ways of using emerging technologies for V.R. Strong possibility of AR development on the Hololens using the Unity engine as well.

 

 

Candidate Qualifications:

·         Proficiency with industry software tools & pipelines (UE4 & Unity3D).

·         C#, Java and UE4 Blueprints proficiency.

·         Understanding environment and level-related meshes, collision, materials, and textures according to best practices within an Unreal development pipeline.

·         2+ years of provable experience in Unreal Engine 4.

·         Familiarity with VR development.

·         Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4’s Blueprint system.

 

Desired Skills:

·         Experience with UE4 C++ scripting.

·         Knowledge of source control.

·         Skill with Unreal’s materials system.

·         Doesn’t mind traveling occasionally.

·         Familiarity with Unity Engine.

·         Familiarity with the Microsoft Hololens.
