Sr. Hardware Engineer - Virtual Reality (VR)

Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) is a global leader in Multimedia integrated circuits (ICs), software and systems for wireless consumer devices including Smartphones, Netbooks and E-readers. Our teams are developing advanced technologies to enhance mobile devices in areas including 2D and 3D graphics, audio/video, display, and architecture. These Multimedia ASICS are co-designed with our Modems, Applications Processors, Analog Codecs and Power Management ICs to deliver highly-integrated, high-performance and low-cost chipsets to our customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
You will be implementing industries leading edge graphics processor, specific areas include 2D and 3D graphics, streaming processor. In this position, the designer will be responsible for architecture and micro-architecture design of the ASIC, RTL design.

3+ yrs. of industry experience required in one or more of the following areas:

Designing GPU or CPU cores
Low Level graphics concepts
ASICs for Multimedia/Graphics/VR applications in deep sub-micron CMOS processes
Verilog/VHDL design, Synopsys synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, coverage-based design verification
Experience in taking architectural concepts through high level design steps

Experience in either OpenGL or DirectX

C/C++ programming

VR experience

Good Communications skills
