What you’ll be doing:

• You will be crafting and running corporate infrastructure technologies, including all compute resources such as network, storage, server and operating systems.
• Your involvement in crafting datacenter topologies while using virtual environments with a focus on corporate server workloads
• Responsible for multiple global virtual farms

• Building incredible customer experiences by inventing self-service solutions

What we need to see:

• Virtualization technologies, HA, DR and replication solutions
• Infrastructure (Server/Storage/Network) sizing, consolidation, virtualization
• Ensure the availability, scalability and performance of the VMware vCenter/ESXi servers
• Your proficiency in installing, configuring, patching, solving problems, securing, diagnosing & repairing VMware ESXi and vCenter systems
• Deep understanding of ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and EVC.
• Your viability to handle multiple projects, while ensuring that commitments and timetables are met.
• Experience in Deploying/Configuring/Managing VMware vSphere 5.5 & 6.0 Infrastructure
• Solid P2V, V2V and Server consolidation experience with tools like VMware Converter/Platespin
• Good hands-on experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of ESXi server environment
• Administration of Windows server environment
• BS in Computer Science or related subject

• At least 10 years in related field

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with Virtual Networking (vSwitch & dvSwitch) and Storage (SAN/NAS)/Storage Protocols (FC/NFS/iSCSI)
• Solid Experience with SRM Disaster recovery tool
• Exposure to vSphere Horizon View and VMware Orchestrator
• Experience in multiple backup and recovery tools for VMware Infrastructure
• Your familiarity with HP/Dell hardware platforms and experience with rack/blade technologies (VirtualConnect)
• Your ability to deploy and configure Windows servers using multiple deployment techniques
• Your realtime exposure to MS Clustering/AD/DNS
• Hands-on experience with OS performance tuning/troubleshooting
• Exposure to tool set like MS SCCM/WSUS/RES One
• Your proficiency with PowerShell/PowerCLI 3.0/4.0
