Photogrammetry Artist with supporting 2D/3D skills

Seeking Photogrammetry Artist with Supporting 2D & 3D skills.

Cognition Corporation is a cutting-edge creative facility and media lab focused on developing Virtual and Augmented Reality projects and technologies. We leverage Photogrammetry and Game Engine technologies to create unique VR experiences. We are located in the heart of Hoollywood and interested in expanding our team to include someone with strong Photography and Photogrammetry skills as well as having supporting 2D and 3D skills.

Successful candidate would study and contribute to improving the current pipeline as well as actually doing in-house and field photogrammetric shooting, processing for high-quality 3D model solves in addition to doing cleanup work on the models.

Requirements:

Experienced in photography with many types of digital cameras.

Already familiar with photographic concepts such as ISO, depth-of-field, F-Stop, Studio Strobe lights and "on camera" flash.

Experience with Photogrammetry software to generate high quality 3D models. (Reality Capture preferred, or photoScan or ReCap)

Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Nuke (or other compositors) with knowledge of how to reversibly improve contrast, create alpha-masks using some sort of Roto Shape tool.

Bonus complimentary 2D or 3D skills that could be leveraged when not actively shooting or do photogrammetric processing with apps like
   Maya
   Lightwave
   Houdini
   Z-Brush or Mudbox
   Texture processing tools such as "ReMake", "3D Coat", "Quixel", "CrazyBump", "Substance Designer".

Bonus complimentary skills with a Game Engine such as Unreal or Unity.

Detail Oriented with a strong eye for composition and lighting

Strong interest in learning new skills

Highly motivated self-starter

Field work requires ability to lift at least 50 lbs, walking, kneeling, hiking, and occasionally multi-day domestic or international travel.

English speaking US citizen.
