WHO WE ARE

We’re a mobile entertainment studio based on the Westside of Los Angeles and only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Our founders are veterans who’ve honed their craft over decades of industry experience including senior leadership roles at EA, Sony & Zynga. We’re currently hard at work on Racing Rivals -- the most exciting racing game on the market where you put it all on the line for pinks.

We’re looking for other driven and talented folks who love building product as much as we do.  Experience matters, but that’s only part of what makes someone a critical part of the team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Systems Designer, you’ll build content and systems for our live title with a hundred thousand daily users or one of our in-development projects. You’ll also work closely with all aspects of the company including community, tech, art and business as part of our live operations. You live and breath game design; play multiple new games a week, know industry best practices & game breakdown blogs and can build your own core loop analysis.

WHO YOU ARE

• 2+ years in mobile game development

• Develop core gameplay systems that engage, retain and monetize players

• Maximize the player experience by tuning live game features and economy

• Create live service game content using design tools and systems

• Analyze community and user testing data to improve & fix game design

• Able to create coherent game narrative; including user flow, names and specific copy

• Effectively implement new features with community, business, engineering and art

• Proven ability to execute game designs and content creation

• Strong technical skills: experienced with data tools like SQL and Tableau

• Review and incorporate community feedback and game metrics

• High attention to detail and take pride in your work product

• Excellent communication skills and able to devise effective solutions

• Never-ending thirst for knowledge; from game design to technology

EXTRA CREDIT

• Live service experience on a major title is a huge plus

• Car game experience a massive bonus

• You like working on a small teams that work fast and iterate often

• Working in a cool building in a sleepy nice town near the beach sounds like fun

• You like bikes, dogs and/or kids
