Junior Ads Manager

Description

Responsibilities

Seeks out new advertising partners that subscribe to CGSociety's vision, community and outlook including but not limited to: software companies, hardware companies, artist tools etc
Creates, manages & tracks insertion orders for new campaigns
Maintains & builds relationships with current advertising clients via campaign creation and account management while providing regular updates and reports in regards to the success of their campaign
Tracks monthly ad revenue, revenue sources, banner inventory
Grows existing offerings while thinking of new, innovative advertising offerings
Attends conferences such as SIGGRAPH and E3 to seek out and meet with new advertising partners
Works closely with the various departments to ensure the accurate execution of sales orders & account activity
Manage creative & copy for clients using Google's double-click or similar software
Creates and implements partner EBlasts within MailChimp, as well as provides statistics to partners
Likely will have a hand in the careers section, handling incoming job postings and upholding client satisfaction

Required Skills

Advanced communication (written & verbal), organizational, & problem solving skills
A self-starter. After the training period has ended, candidate is able to guide themselves thru their daily tasks, but is also comfortable asking questions when the answer is unknown.
Strong interpersonal skills (including effective presentation & listening skills)
Strong computer skills, is comfortable using both Mac and PC
Strong organizational skills with the ability to think outside the box in regards to how to document and track advertising leads
Able to handle a multitude of tasks with a calm demeanor
Comfortable building/nurturing internal & external relationships
Open to learning new software and implementing on the job
Effective working in close team environment

Preferred Skills

Has a working, conceptual knowledge of the 3D industry with a general understanding of the software, hardware and tools used by digital artists
Has held a sales-based position and understands the art of negotiationd
Has a basic understanding of CTR, Impressions, CPM and other verbiage related to banner ads
Has a basic understanding Google's ad software DoubleClick for Publishers
