Description
CoSA VFX is looking for a
Los Angeles-based UI Artist with 2+
years’ experience designing and creating data visualization for digital users. UI/UX
designs will be integrated into visual effects for a variety of upcoming
projects.
Our company is a fast-paced and highly
collaborative production environment. Recent projects include Westworld, Gotham,
Stranger Things and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with
a full slate of prominent shows for the upcoming season.
Successful CoSA staff are passionate about
providing high-levels of organization and demonstrated ability to understand
when to act and when to seek advice. Applicants with strong communication
skills- verbal and written along with a proactive attitude and sense of humor
are greatly valued.
RESPONSIBILITES:
· Undertake
design of UI from research, concept and wireframes to graphical production
· Dimensionalize
story-point data in the visual language of computer systems.
· Interpret
client requests and develop more than one approach to a shot into viable
creative options
REQUIREMENTS:
· 2+
years utilizing After Effects and Maya or Cinema 4D in a production environment
· Capable
of executing limited 3D tasks/working in tandem with CG artists
· Experience
with the visual language of computer systems, especially their typography and
iconography
· Skilled
in solving creative problems using simple, efficient techniques, share
ideas with teammates, and iterate rapidly based on client notes.
· Proficiency
with Adobe software suit— Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
