Senior Roto/Paint Artist

Description

Mr. X is looking for experienced roto and paint cleanup artists to work on upcoming high-end feature film and television projects.

Job Description

• creating articulated rotoscope and garbage mattes
• tracking marker, wire, seam and rig removal
• photo-real animated paint cleanup
• working closely with compositors and supervisors
• working efficiently under tight deadlines and meeting productivity and quota targets

Qualifications

• at least 3 years of experience in this position
• a good understanding of techniques and methods of roto and plate preparation
• an excellent eye for detail
• a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and able to work well within a team under tight deadlines
• experience with node based compositing system (eg. nuke)
• experience with mocha software an asset
