Job Description & Responsibilities

? Interprets and develops the director’s creative vision for the performance of CG characters  and clearly translates it to the animators
? Ensures animation quality control and performance consistency while meeting all schedules and highest standards
? Provides constructive performance feedback to the animators
? Mentors animators and maintains positive moral among the team.
? Supports the animation team with technical and creative problems
? Runs animation dailies
? Creates performance test composites for review by the Director/Supervision team
? Works closely with the Rigging Department to ensure the delivery of rigs that will meet an animator’s need for control, functionality, usability and performance
? Ensures clear lines of communication between animation team and production.
? Partners with the HR and Talent team to source and recruit the best Animation talent.

Qualifications
? Has significant experience working at a supervisory level ( at least 5 years' experience in the production of high-end 3D animation for film

Has fluency in English

? Has a deep understanding of the whole pipeline
? Has expert level Maya abilities
? Is a self-motivated problem solver
