Geomagical Labs is a consumer AI startup, developing a fun & valuable consumer application, for millions of people.

We are looking for a creative & talented app developer, who's built exciting web applications (mobile too, ideally!), to lead the development of our flagship consumer app, and push the envelope of modern user experiences.

This is both a UI and back-end software engineering role, including design and development of compelling front-end UI interactions, as well as back-end services/APIs. It's a unique opportunity to develop an important consumer app design and architecture from the ground floor, and to pioneer exciting new UX experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

B.S. in Computer Science.
Excellent mastery of modern JavaScript & HTML5.
Have developed substantial web applications in multi-person teams.
Experience building back-end apps in modern MVC frameworks (like Django, RoR, Node/Meteor, etc.)
Appreciation of visual style, aesthetics, and consumer UX (with a project portfolio to demonstrate this).
Bonus points for iOS mobile development experience.
Bonus points for substantial full-stack software engineering experience.
Bonus points for hands-on graphic design skills.
Bonus points for 3D graphics programming experience (OpenGL, WebGL, three.js)
Proven track record of being creative and adventurous.
Enthusiastic about seed-stage startups.
