Full-time Faculty, Animation

Description

The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) seeks to hire multiple full-time faculty members in the Animation Department. Expected start date is August 1, 2018.

MICA is seeking candidates with fundamental animation skills (2D, 3D, and/or stop-motion) who also possess complementary knowledge in genres such as documentary, interactive, immersive, game design, and off-screen applications to support our collaborative, project-centric curriculum. MICA’s Animation program provides real-world experience to students by leveraging Baltimore’s unique experts and expanding pool of opportunities in fields including technology, medicine, science, astronomy, music, game design, and indie animation.

The MICA Animation Department is home to a growing, diverse body of students, and we are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the equity and excellence of our academic community.
