Position Description
La
Salle University seeks an individual to teach full-time in the Digital Arts and
Multimedia Design program, beginning Fall 2018. Applicants should have
professional expertise and teaching experience in two or more of the following
areas: digital animation, motion graphics, web design and development, digital
audio design, data visualization, virtual or augmented reality, game
development. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching
and to fostering the creative growth of undergraduates at a liberal arts
university, and an enthusiasm for contributing to the university community.
Service responsibilities include student advising and mentoring, taking an
active role in curriculum development and assessment, and aiding in the
management of classroom equipment and resources. The successful applicant must
meet eligibility requirements to work within the United States. Additional

Qualifications
Applicants
must have a MFA in Digital Arts or a closely related degree, college-level
teaching experience, and an active creative practice that includes a strong
exhibition or professional record. Required are proficiency in screen
based media and advanced knowledge of relevant software applications such as
Adobe Creative Cloud and other commonly used digital applications.
