The Position

The right candidate will be a highly skilled 3D artist who can create conceptual imagery for ideation and visualization and take it from concept to a fully realized asset.

Key Qualifications

• Expert at 3D Visualization in 3DSMax with an emphasis in lighting
• Has a portfolio that displays an excellent eye for light, color, composition, form and design
• Broad understanding of all aspects of 3D content creation - modeling, texturing, lighting and animation.
• Highly proficient in Photoshop, After Effects, and Vray
• Experience with creative retouching is a plus
• Experience with zBrush is a plus
• Excellent communication skills when working with art directors and creatives on a coherent visual style
• Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for quality and the pursuit of artistic excellence
• Highly organized, self-motivated and able to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment

Description

As a Digital Artist, the candidate will be an integral part of the art team working on a variety of conceptual visualization projects. These concepts are explored in still and motion, and span a broad spectrum of styles from simple, yet graphically stunning classic slots, to truly cinematic quality animated slot games that rival platform gaming. He or she needs an exceptional sense of taste and an ability to adapt to a variety of visual styles, as well as a deep technical understanding of 3DSMax and the ability to create a variety of impactful, exciting imagery with speed and precision. In addition to these technical abilities, the candidate must be deadline-driven and possess excellent problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The candidate should also be a proactive and independent artist, able to adapt to ever changing situations with creativity and innovation and work in ambiguity while still delivering results on time.

Education

·         BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

·         5 years of experience in a 3D computer graphics production environment
