Visiting Assistant Professor Animation

Description

The Creative Media Institute at New Mexico State University is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor in Animation & Visual Effects. Key areas of focus should include Visual Effects and Previsualization. An understanding of the overall animation pipeline and how to supervise the organization, scheduling, and delivery of a final 3D animated student project is required. A successful candidate should be able to provide competency-based education, which aligns with CMI’s model of curricula as well as supports CMI’s style of system of delivery. This includes a strong emphasis on narrative-focused student projects. The ability to perform departmental service and contribute to a learning culture by participating in curriculum committees, recruitment, and departmental showcases, etc., will also be expected.
