FX Supervisor

Description

You can:

• Supervise a team of FX artists across all levels 
• Translate creative and technical direction for the production into specific direction for shots and sequences
• Set up FX rigs as required
• Complete shot work where required
• Help drive the pipeline and technical direction of the overall FX department in both studio locations
• Ensure the ongoing training and development of FX Artists

• Either 2 years experience as an FX supervisor on VFX feature films or 4 years as a Lead
• Expert knowledge of Houdini
• A thorough understanding of the visual effects process and the ability to interpret the artistic brief from the VFX Supervisor
• A proven ability to ensure artist's work is of the highest standard on both technical and creative levels
• Experience with conceptual look development and rapid prototyping for FX
• Ability to motivate a team
• Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• An approachable, positive and professional manner
• A proactive and problem solving attitude
