The Mac pre-Silicon driver development team is looking for a software developer with experience in 3D graphics and driver development. As part of the team, a successful candidate will develop graphics driver features to take advantage of future hardware capabilities. Development will be done in simulation environments to ensure the features are ready when silicon arrives.
Key Qualifications:
•At least 5 years experience in 3D graphics and driver development
•At least 5 years experience with C++ software development
•Familiar with MacOS or Unix-like software development environments
•Firmware development experience will provide an added advantage
Description:
- Analyze and understand software interfaces for hardware specifications and provide active feedback for potential HW optimizations
- Architect and develop driver mechanisms to take advantage of new features, collaborating cross-functionally with Frameworks, OS and HW teams
- Assist in debugging and optimization of the features once silicon arrives
- Assist with hardware bringup in a fast paced silicon debug environment
Education:
BS or MS Technical degree
