Developer Technology Engineer---Graphics

We are now looking for a Developer Technology Engineer to focus on developing the Vulkan ecosystem to support the needs of game developers.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will work with some of the most talented ground breaking developers throughout the world

  • You will work on software such as compilers, layers, libraries and utilities to help Vulkan developers improve performance and productivity

  • You will interact closely with the architecture and driver teams at NVIDIA in ensuring the best possible experience on current generation hardware, and on figuring out trends and features for next generation architectures

What we need to see:

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with 6+ year of relevant experience

  • You are familiar with 3D graphics and GPU technologies, including shaders, shading languages and rendering techniques

  • You have experience with real-time 3D APIs such as Vulkan, OpenGL or DirectX

  • You are proficient in C++ with strong software development, optimization, and debugging skills

  • You have a strong software engineering background

  • You have good communication skills

  • You are open to travel for on-site visits with developers and for conferences

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • You have experience with Vulkan

  • You have experience with Windows or Linux driver development

  • You have a background in compilers

  • You have an understanding of GPU architectures

  • You are familiar with and can maintain Continuous Integration systems for software projects
