Senior Assessment and Curriculum Specialist

Description

SCAD seeks a senior assessment and curriculum specialist to play a critical role in the preparation of narrative and evidence to support continuous accreditation efforts.

In this position, you will facilitate and oversee the ongoing evaluation of student learning and support services in assigned academic and administrative areas. In addition, you will monitor the use of assessment results for continuous unit improvement. The senior assessment and curriculum specialist also guides faculty and academic leaders in the development of curriculum content.

The ideal candidate has experience working with art or design disciplines and collaborating with university stakeholders, including deans, chairs and professors. You should possess skills with developing course descriptions, goals and student learning outcomes that effectively communicate academic content and rigor. Experience with data visualization and design software packages, such as the Adobe Creative Cloud, is preferred, as is experience in creating and providing documentation to comply with accreditation standards, such as those outlined by The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, or SACSCOC.
